6 months-- already!

Our cute little Tucker T is 6 months old. I can't believe it! He is growing up way too fast! I took him in for his check up and he weighed in at 17 1/2 lbs (50th percentile) and in the 90th percentil for his height and 70th for his head. What a big boy!

It seems like the last month or so, he has really started to show his personality and hit a lot of milestones. He is working on getting his 2 bottom teeth right now. He has gone from rolling absolutely everywhere to doing the army man crawl. He is into everything! His favorite thing to play with is Daddy's x-box or wii. He really loves to push buttons! He is still enjoying his bouncer but is spending more and more time each day just exploring our front room. Tucker is so funny because he has no interest in sitting up. You try to get him to sit and he just flops right to his stomach. It's not that he isn't strong enough, because he definitely is, he just has no desire to sit still! He loves to tease and when Daddy gets home from work, Tucker will give him a big grin and then turn his head into my shoulder and hides from him, then turns back and gives him another big smile before hiding again.

He is such a joy to have around and both Carson and Hallie can't get enough of him. Carson says that he looks like Theodore off of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Hallie loves that he is starting to play with her more and more, especially while Carson is in school. She just doesn't love it when he gets a hold of her hair! Tucker is such a happy baby. When I took him for pictures, the photographer couldn't believe how good he was and how easily he smiles. I couldn't have asked for a happier, healthier baby! We are very grateful to have him as a part of our family!
