Festival of Trees

Festival of Trees has been a tradition in my family for years. It is a fundraiser for Primary Children’s Hospital, Hallie’s home away from home when she was a baby. It is such an awesome start to the holiday season and I was so bummed that I wasn’t going to get to go this year. Then we made our unexpected trip to Salt Lake, which coincided so nicely with Festival!!! I got to go help my mom set up—she did 2 doors in Hallie’s name, bid night, when most of the trees are actually sold, and then I took my kids with their cousins—a nice silver lining to the clouds!
